Jason Roy has made a reputation for himself all around the cricket world through fierce ball-striking at a rapid strike-rate. Born on July 21,1990 in Durban, Jason moved to England while he was a kid & started his cricketing journey at quite a young age. The rampaging English opening batter, continues to leave his mark all over the globe with his incredible stroke-play and six-hitting abilities. Jason, has become one of England's premier openers & has a high regard in the global T20 circuit.
Jason started his career with representing Surrey in domestic cricket and started putting on impressive performances early doors. A strong Natwest T20 Blast season, amassing 677 runs at an average of 48, handed Roy a chance to be picked for England T20I side in 2014. Roy quickly got into his work in International Cricket as well, and started to make a reputation for himself. Most of the selectors started regarding Roy as an X-factor player who could turn the game around on his own.
Post the horrors of the 2015 World Cup, Jason was the exact individual required to inspire a new style of play in the English side. Roy became a beacon of playing positive & aggressive cricket no matter what the situation, and got a long rope in the English side.
