Is there any way we can describe this man? Words fall short always when it comes to documenting achievements of Big Man Andre Russell. He has been with KKR for six seasons now and has become an integral part of the family.

Dre Russ, as he is popularly known among fans, soared to prominence for his power hitting and all-round supremacy. He made his mark in the IPL for KKR in the 2015 season when he was adjudged the MVP for scoring 392 runs at a strike rate of 192 and also picking up 14 wickets.

His batting exploits against RCB where he plundered 48* runs off 13 balls to lead KKR to a massive win last year is just one of the many jaw-dropping innings he has had to offer to the Knight Riders fans. Remember his blitzkrieg against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk in 2018? His 36-ball 88 still features as one of his best knocks in IPL.

Even in other T20 leagues across the world, Russell has stamped his authority. Even the Knight Riders family had been at the receiving end of his merciless hitting. In the Caribbean Premier League, he went on a rampage against Trinbago Knight Riders scoring a record 40-ball century (121* off 49 balls) and taking a hat-trick in the same match for Jamaica Tallawahs. For one moment, all Knight Riders fans, didn’t know whether to laugh or cry!
