Opening the batting along with Shubman Gill, Rahul anchored the innings with a magical half-century to propel the team to a fighting total of 167 runs in the first innings.
Despite wickets falling at regular intervals, he shouldered the bulk of the responsibility of the side and continued to keep the scoreboard ticking.
His valuable contribution of 81 runs, which was studded with eight boundaries and three sixes, was followed by a clinical bowling performance that helped the team script a thrilling 10-run win.
