Kolkata Knight Riders needed nothing less than a win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last league game of VIVO IPL 2018 to seal their spot in the playoffs. A long tale that started from two back-to-back defeats at the hands of Mumbai Indians, DK and his Knights not just won the following three matches, they have done so in the most convincing manner.
Post match celebration at the Knight camp was at its best. Also, Twitterati praised DK & his men on qualifying for the playoffs. Here’s how they reacted to KKR’s 5 wicket win over SRH:
Our most beloved King Khan congratulated all the top performers of the night. And shared his excitement after a sleepless 24 hours.

The honorable Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee too wished the team for making it to the playoffs.
Well done @KKRiders for qualifying for play offs. Well done @iamsrk ShahRukh

Cricket analyst, Gaurav Sundararaman with his tweet highlighted how team KKR is not a ONE MAN ARMY!
Every team has one player who has scored more than 500 runs except @KKRiders . They have 4 players who have scored over 300 runs and they have 4 bowlers who have taken more than 10 wickets. They had a good first 11 and made best use of the players. #teameffort #IPL2018

Renowned film-maker, Satrajit Sen also congratulated KKR for making it to the playoffs.
Congratulations @KKRiders for making the playoffs in style @iamsrk 😊

Just two words for Jatin Sapru, WELL SAID!
Not many gave @KKRiders a top 4 chance post the auction. Well, they’ve made it as team number 3.. Haven’t depended on one or two heroes through this campaign.. They’ve played like a team 👏🏻#SRHvKKR

Former Knight now donning the mic, Aakash Chopra made a valid point. Couldn’t agree more! And wish this chasing machine never stops!
Karthik-the new finisher in town. Lost count on how many occasions he’s stayed unbeaten in successful chases. Well played 😊👍👏 #IPL #KKR

Cricket expert, Ayaz Memon praised DK and his Knights’ strong comeback in a few simple words.
Truly admirable how #KKR recovered from mid-tournament crisis to reach play-offs. Now looking the team to beat. Congrats @DineshKarthik & Co
