Kolkata Knight Riders will look to make the best out of their strong start, taking on Chennai Super Kings in their first away match of the Vivo IPL 2018. After salvaging a win against RCB at Eden Gardens, our Knights look set to turn the tables and better their record against CSK at Chepauk.

News from the Knight camp
For our skipper Dinesh Karthik, Chennai is not unfamiliar territory. In the 17 matches Karthik has played against the yellow army, he has scored 371 runs - his second-best record against any team in the IPL after Kings XI Punjab. With Sunil Narine scoring a blazing fifty in the first game, Nitish Rana chipping in with an all-round effort, Karthik cementing the win with a solid knock, KKR’s batting unit looks pretty strong.
The bowlers too, will be keen to put up a stronger show having conceding 176 runs in their opening game. Spinners could play a vital role for DK’s men against Dhoni’s CSK.

CSK’s Home Return
It will be a special day for all the CSK fans as their team will play for the first time at home after being out of action for the past two years. The only unfortunate news from CSK's camp is that of the injured Kedar Jadhav, who was ruled out of the rest of the IPL with a grade two hamstring injury suffered against Mumbai Indians.

CSK’s batting depth could however, make up for Jadhav’s absence. Dwayne Bravo played a fantastic knock of 68 runs off just 30 balls to guide CSK to a one-wicket win against Mumbai Indians in their opening game.

History
The two teams have played 16 matches against each other, and CSK enjoy a lead over KKR in terms of a W/L record of 10/6. But there are a few twists to that tale too. Kuldeep Yadav, who has already set his eyes on bagging the wicket of MS Dhoni once again, has already managed to pick his wicket twice in two matches so far.
