It's Match-day at Eden Gardens. Two-time IPL Champions Kolkata Knight Riders will look to add to their exceptional record at home - 38 wins in 59 matches, the best in the league. Sunrisers Hyderabad are coming into this game on the back of two wins but they will have to knuckle down to earn victory here. Incidentally, SRH have never been able to get the better of our Knights at Eden Gardens (W-L tally for KKR against SRH: 5-0).

What's happening at the Knights' camp?
Kolkata Knight Riders have been at their brutal best at Eden Gardens. After the last over debacle against Chennai Super Kings, Dinesh Karthik is expected to make some changes in the playing eleven. In a saddening news to all KKR fans, Kamlesh Nagarkoti has been ruled out of the IPL. That puts Shivam Mavi in good contention, and gives DK another option in the playing eleven.

Robin Uthappa (29 in 16 balls), who looked in good touch against CSK at Chepauk, had a good run against spin-bowling and the home condition will prove to be an advantage for our Mr. Consistent. Andre Russell and Sunil Narine make up our Caribbean fire-power, both with the bat & the ball, as they will be expected to play a big all-round role in the game.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Team News
The Kane Williamson-led SRH will miss the service of David Warner, but the team has moved on. A comfortable win against Rajasthan Royal in their first match, backed up by a nail-biting finish against Mumbai Indians, should add to their confidence. Shakib Al Hasan, Yusuf Pathan, and Manish Pandey were part of Kolkata Knight Riders and will be returning to their old home. Their familiarity with the conditions at Eden Gardens can be an advantage to SRH.

History
KKR has dominated the visiting team in past. Not just as a team, our Knights even have an advantage if we look at some one-on-one battle between the players. Vice-captain Robin Uthappa's record (39 runs in 19 balls) against Rashid Khan makes him a go-to batsman against the leggie. Australian speedster, Mitchell Johnson can be back in the playing eleven and why not! The fast bowler has dismissed the in-form Shikhar Dhawan as many as three times in the five occasions where the two players have come up against each other.

Kuldeep Yadav's best figures in the IPL (3/35) were recorded against SRH in 2016.
