Team India chased down West Indies' 315 in Cuttack to end 2019 on a high. While the visitors won the first game in Chennai, the home side bounced back to win the 2nd & 3rd game respectively. This was India's 10th consecutive ODI series win against Windies.

There were plenty of positives from the series with KL Rahul grabbing the opportunity after replacing the injured Shikhar Dhawan in the team. Navdeep Saini had a positive debut as he picked 2 wickets in the 3rd ODI and bowled at good pace. Between all this, Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav etched his name in the history books as he picked up his second ODI hat-trick in the 2nd game against Windies and became the first Indian to have 2 international hat-tricks to his name.

Virat Kohli and his boys now have a 2-week break before they return to action against Sri Lanka in the 3-match T20I series, starting on 5th January in Guwahati. The remaining two games will be played on 7th January and 10th January in Indore and Pune respectively.

Following the T20I series, the next assignment for Team India will be the 3-match ODI series against Australia. The games will be played in Mumbai, Rajkot & Bengaluru on 14th, 17th & 19th January respectively.

Knight Kuldeep Yadav will be a part of both the series and will be keen to start off 2020 with a bang.
