Our Knights are in the historic city of Hyderabad to face defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad tonight. What numbers do Knight Riders need to keep an eye out on?

Summer of 73: Gautam Gambhir has been exceptional in IPL 2017, with his captaincy and batting. With an aggregate of 2913 runs for KKR, Gambhir finds himself just 73 runs short of MS Dhoni’s total of 2986 for CSK, the highest by a captain for a franchise in the IPL.

The Coulter-Attack: Nathan Coulter-Nile has been sensational for us, taking 11 wickets from four games this season at a phenomenal strike rate of 7.8. The pacer needs 1 wicket more to reach the milestone of 100 scalps in T20 cricket.

Another feather in Gauthappa's cap: Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa have been in red-hot form, individually and as a pair in this IPL. This combination is now just 103 runs adrift of the 2000 run landmark as a pair in the IPL. If and when they do so, they will become only the fourth pair in this tournament’s history to Scale Mt 2000.

The face-offs: Our young Knight, Kuldeep Yadav has played against David Warner twice in IPL and dismissed him on both occasions. Kuldeep also dismissed Warner in the first innings of the Dharamsala Test match in March.

Umesh Yadav too has a decent record against some of the SRH players, dismissing Warner on 3 occasions and Yuvraj Singh twice in T20 cricket.

Sunil Narine will look forward to bowling against Naman Ojha, having dismissed him thrice in nine innings.

Expect some great, quality cricket when these two champion teams face-off in a short while from now.
