Kolkata Knight Riders playoff hopes will face a stern challenge as they play Mumbai Indians in their last home match of the season at Eden Gardens tonight.

The visitors do have an upper hand on paper with 18 wins and 5 losses against us in 23 matches. DK and his Knights will look to change the equation tonight as they’ll have to win all three matches to stay in contention to finish in the top four.

Narine against MI players
Sunil Narine is a key player when it’s about giving KKR a flying start at the top order. But Skipper Dinesh Karthik will rely heavily on his bowling against key MI players.

KKR News:
Despite our history against MI, KKR has all the arsenal to go all guns blazing in front of home crowd.

Our last win against MI came in 2015. A win tonight will keep our hopes alive this season. There's no doubt about what our players can do with the bat. Against Rajasthan Royals we were well in control of the game with both bat and ball before losing a close game.

It's now or never for KKR and we need to bring our A-Game against the visitors tonight.

MI News:
Rohit Sharma-led MI is currently second in the points table. They have won six of their last eight matches with two defeats coming against Rajasthan Royals.

A win tonight will take them to the top of the points table with 16 points and more or less confirm their playoff spot.
