The complete schedule for the phase 1 of the Junior Knights Championship 2023/24 has been announced, starting on Friday 8th December 2023. The first game of the championship was played at the iconic Eden Gardens after a grand opening ceremony. The Under-15 Inter-School Championship marks its 6th year of providing a great platform for the youngsters of Kolkata and West Bengal. The 64 school teams participating have been divided into 16 groups, who will compete in 111 matches across 32 grounds in West Bengal. Teams from 9 groups will start off the tournament on 8th December, across 10 grounds.

The first phase of the tournament is slated to go till 26th December, in a similar format where multiple teams will compete simultaneously across various stadiums. The league stages will have 45-overs per side games whereas the semi finals and finals will be 2-day games with 85-overs per side. The Finale will be a pink-ball game in order to help the cricketers gain a new experience under their belt. The 45-over per side format has been specially designed for the players to spend substantial time on the field and get an understanding of building the innings.
