History beckons the Indian women's team when they set foot in the southern hemisphere to tour Australia for the Commonwealth Bank series later this year.

The visiting side is slated to feature in the historic pink-ball Test across four days (the norm for Women's Test) starting from 30th September 2021 at the WACA Ground in Perth.

The Indian team will play their first-ever day-night Test when they lock horns against arch-rivals Australia after a 15-year hiatus.

A step forward towards the betterment of the Women in Blue as Jay Shah, secretary of the BCCI, announced this development in a tweet.

Apart from this glorious test chapter, the Indian team will feature in three One Day Internationals and as many T20 games in almost a month-long tour.

The two teams will face off for the first time since their record-breaking match in the finals of the ICC World T20 last year.
