The historic one-off Test match featuring the home team England and India is all set to commence tomorrow at the County Ground in Bristol.

The last time these two sides locked horns in the longest format of the game, the Indian team registered a famous win by six wickets at Wormsley. The visiting side has a formidable record in England and has never lost a Test match on England soil. In eight test matches, the team has won two and drawn six hard-fought games in the past.

With eight debutants in the playing XI, the team led by skipper Mithali Raj etched their name in the record books by defeating the formidable England outfit.

While the Indian team will set foot on the County ground with only a handful of sessions, the side received some valuable inputs from Ajinkya Rahane ahead of this much-anticipated clash.

The Indian team will be heavily reliant on their experienced duo of Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami to guide the team through this format of the game.

The likes of Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur and Mithali Raj will need to shoulder the bulk of the responsibility of the batting unit in the challenging conditions on offer in England. The team also has youngsters Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma in the mix.

Veteran pacer Jhulan Goswami will spearhead the bowling unit along with Shikha Pandey. The duo with a wealth of experience at the international level will be crucial to India's chances in the conditions suitable for swing and seam.

On the other hand, England will be accustomed to the challenges and will look towards their lethal duo of Katherine Brunt and Anya Shrubsole to dent the Indian top order.

The batting unit will revolve around skipper Heather Knight and all-rounder Natalie Sciver to counter the experienced Indian bowling unit.
