Virat Kohli's Team India and Shikhar Dhawan's Men in Blue might be miles apart but their hearts are still in sync!

Deepak Chahar's heroics with the bat and an unbeaten 84-run partnership for the eighth wicket ensured India's limited-overs team's nail-biting three-wicket win against Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo on Tuesday.

In a video released by the BCCI, Kohli and Co. competing in a first-class match at Durham were seen cheering for their white ball counterparts en route to the stunning run chase.

For the first time since the 1998 Commonwealth Games, the Indian cricket team fielded two sides on Tuesday, 20th July.

While the limited-overs side featured in the fifty-over match against Sri Lanka in Colombo, a thousand miles away, the Indian Test squad was in action on Day One of the three-day warm-up game against County Select XI.

With the second edition of the ICC World Test Championship set to commence with a five-Test series against England starting on 4th August, this game will be an ideal opportunity for the visiting side to prepare for the gruelling contest. Meanwhile India play their last and final ODI on Friday and then start with their T20I fixtures from Sunday.
