KKR's latest addition in the spin department, Harbhajan Singh, has checked in at the team hotel on Saturday afternoon. The off-spin maestro was bought at the 2021 VIVO IPL Auction by KKR at a price of Rs 2 Cr.

This is the first time the Turbanator will turn out in Purple and Gold, having represented Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in the past. In an illustrious international career, Harbhajan has picked up 711 wickets in 367 matches across all three formats.

In IPL, Harbhajan has bagged 150 wickets in 160 matches. He has played every season from IPL’s inception barring the 2020 season, which he himself pulled out of, citing “personal reasons”.

Following seven days of mandatory quarantine in his room, as per the BCCI’s guidelines and necessary negative test results, Harbhajan will join the rest of his teammates at practice.

The reservoir of experience that he brings on the table is going to be a great asset for the entire squad. We can’t wait to welcome him to the set-up, Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo!
