Amphan was a deadly tropical cyclone that caused widespread damage in Eastern India, specifically across four regions of West Bengal - Kolkata, North and South 24 Parganas, and East Medinipur. On 17 May, Cyclone Amphan underwent rapid intensification and turned into an extremely severe cyclonic storm just within 12 hours.
The damage caused left families across the affected areas in dire need of help, and we, along with Meer Foundation and Zomato Feeding India, saw it as our responsibility to do whatever we can to bring some relief to these families.
