Two-time IPL Champions Chennai Super Kings come into their first home game of the season on a high, having won their opening game of IPL 2018 against Mumbai Indians in thrilling fashion. Having missed out on the last two editions of IPL, CSK will be playing their first match at home after a long time. KKR too, are coming off a breathtaking victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore, and will look to put up a stiff battle when the two sides lock horns on Tuesday (April 10) night.

Let’s take a quick look at three Knights who the fans will be banking a lot on:

Dinesh Karthik

Our Skipper, who currently has the unique feat of not being dismissed in the last 6 T20 games he has played, was in top form against RCB and helped us get over the line. Chennai being his hometown, he has played most of his cricket there. The pressure of playing against CSK in their own den, inside a packed stadium of yellow, could be intimidating but that wouldn't make much of a difference since his record speaks for itself! DK loves playing against CSK and has the second-most number of runs against any team in the IPL. How’s that for a record?

Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav is no less of a force with the ball when compared to any other frontline bowlers. He has already made his wish clear - to dismiss MS Dhoni and why should he not? In the two IPL matches where they’ve faced each other, Kuldeep dismissed Dhoni both the times and has had the last laugh.

Robin Uthappa

Robin has many monikers - Mr. Consistent, Mr. Reliable and also KKR's best bet against CSK. He does enjoy playing against Chennai Super Kings and the numbers speak for itself. In the last four innings against CSK, his tally reads:  80 off 58 balls, 39 off 17 balls, 67 off 39 balls and 47 off 38 balls. If that’s not consistency coupled with aggression, we don’t know what is!

Looking at the head to head numbers, Chennai does have an advantage over KKR but with skipper DK at the forefront of the battle, our Knights are all set to face the storm at Chepauk, Chennai! KKR, hai taiyaar.
