Since the announcement of the Indian Premier League in the UAE from 19th September 2020, cricket fans are anticipating a purple patch for KKR. In one of the posts on social media, KKR gave a glimpse of what a ‘purple’ UAE would look like. World-renowned Burj Khalifa, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Sharjah Mosque were showed in purple hues. Interestingly, last time KKR had won the title was in 2014 when half the tournament was played in the UAE. KKR fans are hoping for an encore!
