WHY WE CARE
At Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), environmental sustainability is a cause we are deeply passionate about, a commitment driven by our co-owner, Ms. Juhi Chawla Mehta. Protecting the environment is central to our values, and we use our platform to inspire positive change. Ms. Chawla’s dedication to green initiatives reflects our belief in the power of collective action to create a healthier planet. WHAT WE DO
KKR has organized several tree plantation drives, bringing together Ms. Juhi Chawla, players, and fans in a shared commitment to the environment. The Runs to Roots initiative converts on-field performance into environmental action, with each run scored translating into a tree planted across Kolkata, Howrah and the Sundarbans. This initiative aims to enhance green cover, support biodiversity, and inspire others to join us in creating a cleaner, sustainable world.
