WATCH: Sunil Narine smashes 52 off 23 balls for Surrey in the Vitality Blast!

As if there weren't enough fireworks at the Kia Oval in London on Thursday evening, Sunil Narine added to it with an electrifying 23-ball 52, along with 1/24 with the ball, in his side, Surrey's mammoth 72-run win over Hampshire in the Vitality Blast.

The Trinidad all-rounder brought up his 12th T20 half-century, hitting five boundaries and clearing the ropes for four sixes. He took a particular liking to seamer James Fuller when he struck him for three consecutive boundaries and a pulled six over the leg-side.

Sam Curran was awarded the man-of-the-match for his 38-ball 69 before picking his career-best T20 figures of 5-30.

The stint with Surrey is Narine's first in the T20 Blast in England after being a part of the Oval Invincibles in the men's inaugural Hundred competition last year. He has enjoyed a prolific start to the season picking three wickets in as many matches and has been the most economical bowler in the tournament so far bowling at a miserly economy rate of 4.83.

He recently finished as the most economical bowler in the IPL, among bowlers to have bowled a minimum of 20 overs, for the Kolkata Knight Riders in a seventh position finish for the side.
