While the batting innings reflected the aggressive style of the skipper, the second innings witnessed a charismatic spell from Cummins.

The Australian speedster picked up four wickets, including the wickets of Ben Stokes and Steven Smith in the field restrictions to break the backbone of the opposition batting unit and restrict them to 131/9.

Cummins was adjudged the Player of the Match for his display that helped his team gain two crucial points and improve on the Net Run Rate.
