KKR's Kiwi pacer Lockie Ferguson turned 30 today (June 13). Our Knight has been one of the most talented speedsters New Zealand cricket has ever produced. Be it in IPL for KKR or in international cricket for the BLACKCAPS, Lockie has been an asset for his respective teams. There are many memorable performances which underlined Lockie's success. Out of those, we will discuss 5 of his special international performances on this special occasion.

5/21 against West Indies (2020)
It was the first T20I match of the series and New Zealand comfortably won the encounter, courtesy Lockie's brilliant fifer. The Kiwi was breathing fire with his pace and bounce. He started off with an inswinger that castled Andre Fletcher and slowly went on to remove Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran, Fabian Allen and Keemo Paul. He was adjudged Man of the Match for his economic and effective spell.

4/37 against Afghanistan (2019)
This was a World Cup fixture at Taunton where Lockie's 4/37 ably supported his teammate James Neesham's five-wicket haul. The duo tormented Afghanistan as they restricted the side to 172. Lockie picked up the wickets of Noor Ali Zadran, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Rashid Khan and Aftab Alam. He was the second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 21 wickets.

4/40 against Sri Lanka (2019)
During Sri Lanka's tour of NZ in 2019, Lockie was at his absolute best. His 4/40 came in the 3rd ODI, which helped the Kiwis win by a massive 115 runs. After scoring 364/4 in their innings, NZ bundled Sri Lanka out for 249 to complete a 3-0 sweep. The man to do the majority of damage was Lockie, who sent back Kusal Perera, Thisara Perera, Danushka Gunathilaka and Dushmantha Chameera.

3/17 against West Indies (2017)
Playing the second ODI of the three-match ODI series, New Zealand were already 1-0 ahead. Batting first the Kiwis set a 326-run target. Lockie played the perfect role of a second fiddle to Trent Boult, who returned 7 wickets in the match. Lockie dismissed Jason Mohammed, Jason Holder and Rovman Powell and, along with with Boult, skittled the Windies out for a mere 121 runs.
