With valuable contributions from the batting unit, the Knight Riders posted 163 runs in 20 overs, with Shubman Gill top-scoring with 36.

Defending a modest total, Ferguson was instrumental in picking up three crucial wickets of Kane Williamson, Priyam Garg and Manish Pandey in the middle overs. His exploits of 3 for 15 runs in his four overs, along with his two wickets in the Super Over, helped us get over the line in a thrilling encounter.

The Kiwi fast bowler picked up the wicket of Williamson on the first ball after the field restrictions to break a promising 58-opening stand. He followed up with two vital scalps in the middle overs to turn the match in favour of Knights.
