Captain DK turns 35, receives love from KKR family

Kolkata Knight Riders family got together from different corners of the world to surprise captain Dinesh Karthik on a virtual call. While the skipper was promised a strategic discussion amongst the teammates to bring him on the call, it turned out to be the virtual cake smashing on his special day.

Wishes were poured in by coach Brendon McCullum, KKR’s MD & CEO Venky Mysore, Mentor David Hussey, Bowling coach Kyle Mills, and many other players and support staff. In the end, the ever-smiling DK thanked everyone for the surprise during the lockdown.
