Abhishek has event and sport management experience of over 10 years. He has been associated with KKR since 2009 in the core operations role. He heads operations for the franchise and manages Eden Gardens for the IPL season dealing with all matters with authorities and government offices. He has taken up the Team Manager role since the end of CLT20 2014 and is now managing both operations and Team for the franchise. He lives and breathes KKR!
Legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram is back as the bowling coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders. In a nutshell, perhaps the best left-arm fast bowler of all time, Wasim Akram could make the ball walk and talk like no one else did. An explosive, exciting genius who could change the game with the bat as well. A former Pakistani captain, he was a genuine left arm fast bowler who could bowl with significant pace. Adelaide native Andrew Leipus was the physiotherapist for the Indian team from 1999 to 2004, and played a pivotal role in reviving the general level of fitness of the side. Before that stint he spent two years at the Centre of Sports Medicine in Johannesburg. In 2004 he was offered a three-year extension to his contract with the BCCI but turned it down to spend more time with his family and on studies. He then went on to work with the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, and the Darren Lehmann Academy in South Australia.
A former physical trainer in the Indian team, almost every cricketer who’s worked with Adrian Le Roux, holds him in high regard. Adrian gives the Knights a blend of discipline and concern. He follows every player’s diet and exercise regimes carefully. Though a hard disciplinarian, many players have developed a bond with Adrian. He is widely known for having introduced innovative and highly effective fitness training modules.

Analyst AR Srikkanth has been the numbers man behind the scenes for Kolkata Knight Riders since 2009. This 26 year old plays an important part in helping the coaches to analyze and dissect games and strategize against opposition players.He helps formulate game plans with the coach and the captain and has also played a central role in the auctions. Srikkanth has played junior state cricket and has worked with more than 10 international coaches. He enjoys helping players on and off the field and chips in occasionally with some mean leg breaks in the nets.
Kamlesh Completed his Physiotherapy degree from Chennai, India and has specialised in Sports Therapy from the United Kingdom. He is the Head Physiotherapist at the Cricket Association of Bengal for the Senior Bengal team and has also worked with the East Zone team for the Duleep and Deodhar trophy. He has been associated with the Kolkata Knight Riders as the Assistant Physiotherapist since the 2012 Championship season.
There's no need to introduce a legend like Jacques Kallis. But this season, King Kallis will be taking on a new role. After playing with and winning numerous matches for KKR, Kallis will now be the mentor and batting coach, sharing his knowledge to the Knights. Lending his years of experience to the team, there is nobody better than Jacques Kallis to mentor the side.
Former Australia batsman Simon Katich, who is the assistant coach of IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, is expected to form a solid partnership with KKR captain Gautam Gambhir and coach Jaques Kallis in IPL 2016. The trio, who will play an important role for KKR in the ninth edition of the IPL, that starts on 9 April, has huge experience under their belt. However, their first task will be to pick some strong players in the IPL Player Auction on 6 February in Bengaluru.
