Our very own Kuldeep Yadav was picked in the fourth Test against Australia for the injured Virat Kohli. After consistently performing at the domestic circuit, he became the first Chinaman bowler to play for India. With the likes of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravinchandran Ashwin already in the team, not many would have expected the 22-year old to grab the headlines. But that is what exactly he has done.
After Australia won the toss, the visitors had no hesitation in batting first on a track which favoured their batsmen. Australia made a brisk start and dominated the first session ending on 130/1. But after our Knight's introduction, things changed drastically. He finished with figures of 4/68 with the likes of David Warner and Glenn Maxwell falling prey to him. Here's how cricketing Twitterati reacted.
I am impressed with @imkuldeep18's variations and the way he has started. Keep going strong, this can be your match to shine.— sachin tendulkar (@sachin_rt) March 25, 2017
India's fightback was led by a youngster who was really the 5th bowler. Very impressive from Kuldeep Yadav; especially the two he got bowled— Harsha Bhogle (@bhogleharsha) March 25, 2017
Won't be surprised if Kuldeep Yadav puts in a Man of the Match performance. Great skill and nerves. https://t.co/slwLPk3Mld— Mohammad Kaif (@MohammadKaif) March 25, 2017

This has been a magnificent spell of bowling from the young man Kuldeep— Michael Clarke (@MClarke23) March 25, 2017
Magic frm Kuldeep. Maxwell clueless about which way ball would go. Amazing turnaround post-lunch, Aus innings being reduced to a shambles— Cricketwallah (@cricketwallah) March 25, 2017
With such a terrific spell in the first innings, a lot will be expected from him in the second innings as well. We are sure he'll give another standout performance!
